It seems Speaker of the House Lawerence Denney thinks the media isn't being properly patriotic.
The Republican from Midvale sent a letter to Betsy Russell, who leads the Capitol Press Corps, on March 7, admonishing the reporters covering the current legislative session for not audibly participating in the Pledge of Allegiance.
According to Denney, anyone who doesn't want to say the pledge out loud can wait to come onto the House floor until after it's done.
