The campaign finance numbers keep rolling in. This time it's Walt Minnick's campaign for Idaho's First Congressional district.
According to Minnick's campaign
, the Democrat took in $228,336 in the first quarter of the year, making a grand total of $638,690 in contributions since Minnick announced his run.
Minnick, who is challenging Republican Rep. Bill Sali
, is now the only Democrat running since Larry Grant
announced his departure from the race last week.
The campaign finance reports, filed with the Federal Election Commission, also tell the story of why Grant dropped out of the race.
According to his report
, Grant brought in only $57,960 this quarter, and only $123,869 in the cycle so far.
