Run Walt, Run

Walt Minnick finished a different kind of race over the weekend.

The First Congressional District candidate ran the Boston Marathon, finishing in four hours, 45 minutes and 35 seconds.

No, it doesn't quite match the winning time of two hours, seven minutes and 46 seconds, but it was good enough to put him in 19,826th place overall among 21,963 finishers.

He finished 11,980th among 13,028 men, and 655th in his division—men aged 60 to 69. The 65-year-old Democrat will now return to Idaho to face his campaign against Rep. Bill Sali.
