Boise DJ's Film Hits the Egyptian

Posted on Fri, Oct 17, 2008 at 4:00 AM

Boise Weekly event, chances are you know DJ Art Hodge's work. Just about anytime we need good music, we ask Hodge to help us out.

And we're not the only ones.

The Grammy-award winning producer and composer works in music and film, and just recently put his skills to work on Third Term, a documentary positing that if Republican John McCain were to win his bid for the presidency, his tenure would be little more than Americans suffering through an extension of "Dubya's" time in office.

Three screenings are planned as a fundraiser for the Ada County Democrats' Get Out the Vote Campaign. All proceeds from tickets sales will support the campaign, so if you're into Hodges' work, be prepared for the fact that your $4 admission fee isn't bi-partisan.

Sunday, Oct. 19, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., $4. The Egyptian Theatre, 700 W. Main St., 208-387-1273.
