On July 18, local promoters Miss Kniss & Co.—comprised of Jenny Kniss, Anna Demetriades and Jen Merrill—present glitchy Philadelphia son James Watts, a.k.a. Kilowatts.
Using "piano-based melodies and jazz-inspired song structure," Watts covers every electronic genre from IDM to breaks to down-tempo to techno. This will be his first Boise appearance, a boon for electronic lovers in the Valley who may know Watts' from his dreamy, genius work with Belgian artist Vanek (Peter Van Ewijk).
Joining Watts are locals Evol G and Owlright for a night of music that will be hard to beat.
