Boise’s cycling community is again coming together in the wake of recent bike/car deaths in the area. This time, it’s to help raise money to support the 2-year-old daughter of the most recent victim, Kevin Pavlis.
Lactic Acid Cycling joined forces with Boise-based Core Concepts and Idaho Mountain Touring to create a special T-shirt to raise awareness for road safety, with proceeds from the sales going to a Pavlis memorial fund.
The shirts are Core Concepts’ bamboo/organic cotton blend, and are being sold at Idaho Mountain Touring for $24.99. There was an initial run of 100 shirts, but if there is enough demand, organizers will make more.
