Every few years (yes, years) we revisit the idea of carrying The Stranger's "Savage Love." Written by editorial director Dan Savage, "Savage Love" is ... well, the kind of column your mother probably wouldn't approve of. And not just because it's about sex but because it's about sex the way you'd talk about it with your closest friends if you were capable of having a really frank discussion and didn't mind a few expletives thrown in for good measure.
Savage sat on one of the panels I attended at BW's annual trade association conference in Tucson last month, and it got me thinking about the idea of carrying Savage Love again. Now that I read through the archive and refresh my memory, I'm not so sure Boise can handle him.
What do you think? Check out this week's column and report back.

BW will run ted rall, but not dan savage? savage's candid opinions about sex are far less irritating than rall's incessant bitching and moaning about politics. i think BW ought to consider that its readership is adult and forward thinking enough to handle a little sex talk. boise needs to wake up from this backward conservative coma toot sweet and i think BW is just the alarm clock to make it happen.
