New Monotonix MP3

Posted By on Fri, Aug 21, 2009 at 5:41 PM

In anticipation of Monotonix’s upcoming release Where Were You When It Happened?, Drag City is encouraging fans to get to know the record “in a Biblical sense.” They just released the free MP3 “Set Me Free,” a distortiony hair metal track off the new album.

Throughout the song, lead singer Ami Shalev scream-croaks in a thick Israeli accent to “set me free.” Anyone who caught Monotonix at Neurolux knows this dude is a far cry from inhibited.

So, crank up this new song, comb your chest hair and get amped for Monotonix's upcoming show at VAC Tuesday, September 22.
