Boise State Faculty Artist Series

Posted By on Fri, Sep 18, 2009 at 10:40 AM

Leslie Moreau, clarinet, assisted by adjunct professors Barton Moreau and Janelle Oberbillig, perform as part of the Faculty Artist Series. The repertoire includes selections from Poulenc, Mercadante, Glinka and a special performance of Samuel J. Hamm Jr.’s “fixation” for clarinet and electronics.

Hamm, Jr. will be on stage during the performance using a computer to manipulate the sound of the clarinet which adds a distinctive texture to the modern piece.

Leslie Moreau is exciting to hear how the piece turns out and said, "It's something different and unique."
