Cyclists: it’s time to get your hands dirty so you can get your tires dirty.

The Idaho Velodrome and Cycling Park is building the state’s first permanent cyclo-cross course over the next two weekends, and is looking for some willing hands to help with the project.

Volunteers are needed to work one of two shifts—10 a.m.-2 p.m. or 1-5 p.m.—on Saturday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 3. Workers are asked to bring work gloves, shovels, food and water, as well as their bikes to test the new features as they are built.

Racing will start just weeks after construction of the course is completed. For more info, visit idahovelopark.org.
