The newest edition of Sports Illustrated magazine dedicates a multi-page spread to Alabama's national championship win with a pull-out near the end predicting next year's top teams.
"At some point we're going to have to stop doubting Boise State. Sure, the Broncos (right) play in the weak WAC, but whenever they get on the big stage, all they do is win," writes Andy Staples. He goes on to predict that Alabama will return to defend its title, while Boise State will make a No. 2 showing, possibly becoming the first non-BCS team to play the championship.
