Blood into Cupcakes

The Eagle bakery and cafe is hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Beyond the fuzzy feeling of goodwill and a wad of cotton in the crook of your arm, if you donate, you'll get a free red velvet cupcake.
If you’re like us, you’d sell one of your limbs for some of the baked goodies from Pamela’s, so giving up a pint of blood is a pretty good bargain.
