You know those chicks who used to bring their hula hoops to Neurolux on the weekends and do all kinds of crazy, head-spinny, arm-twirly tricks? Well, now’s your chance to learn how to hoop like a pro … without having to invest in neon-striped tube socks and eye glitter.
Beginning tonight from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and running through Wednesday, July 28, Boise State Campus Recreation is offering an eight-week course on hoop dancing that will teach you how to: “hoop on your torso, arms, legs and off-body. The class combines cardiovascular conditioning and core strength while increasing confidence, positive energy and power.”
The class costs $49 for members and $69 for non-members. And if hooping ain’t your thing, check out Campus Rec’s other classes: salsa dance, boot camp and yoga therapy.
