music Rumors Swirl About Special Guests at Love As Laughter Show Tonight at VAC

Brooklyn's Love As Laughter plays a free show tonight with Brian Mayer of Fauxbois at the Visual Arts Collective. VAC's Facebook event invite promises "an extended set" with "some extra special friends." But just who might those friends be?
Though VAC co-owner Sam Stimpert wouldn't confirm the rumor, it seems fairly likely that it will be indie/folk darling Jenny Lewis, who has been touring with boyfriend Johnathan Rice under the moniker Jenny and Johnny.
But will there be even more extra, extra special guests? Stimpert, again, couldn't confirm, though there are persistent rumors floating around that members of a certain iconic indie band might be in attendance. And that a certain member of another iconic indie band might do a special afterparty DJ set.
Are any of these rumors true? We have no clue. But we're looking forward to finding out for free at 9 p.m. tonight.
