Need Something to do Tuesday?

It has been said that one should always hope for the best while preparing for the worst. Today is the perfect opportunity to live out that philosophy.

It's clear to anyone who has stepped outside today that Namor, the Sub-Mariner, is trying to expand his empire by flooding Boise. Obviously, the way to work for the best here is to support a strong representative democracy that can enter negotiations and let him know while a bit of rain is good for the fields, the moment it gets ankle-deep, we're ready to unleash Rex Rammell's dinosaur on Atlantis.

And to make sure that happens, it's definitely worth hitting up the District 18 candidate forum tonight at Timberline High School.

But if you'd prefer to spend your evening preparing for the worst, you might want to hit up the Nampa Recreation Center at 5:30 p.m. for SCUBA lessons. The class costs $27, but it'll be worth it so you can breathe should Namor get his way.
