Need Something to do Wednesday?

Posted By on Wed, Oct 13, 2010 at 9:30 AM

If you're even remotely "with it," you spent last weekend hoofing it around Boise checking out awesome live music at Promenade Music Festival. And though you might be down with all the hoofing, it's possible that you might be all rocked out.

That's why even though Wednesday is usually tons-o'-music day, the team here at Need Something to do Today? is highlighting something else: film.

Today you can catch two great special screenings. Viva Zapata, a documentary about the peasant-lead Mexican Revolution will be shown at Boise State at noon. Then you can stop by the Cole/Marr Gallery at 7 p.m. to catch Exodus 1947, a documentary about secret American involvement in immigration to Palestine following WWII, followed by Q and A with director Elizabeth Rodgers.
