Today is a holiday for skiers and snowboarders across the valley. Sure, there's that whole Presidents' Day thing, but we're talking about the holiday that sends the hearts of snow lovers racing. That's right, Bogus Basin's annual season pass sale.

Skiers and boarders have just more than six days left to take advantage of the much-anticipated sale on season passes for the 2011-2012 season. Through Sunday, Feb. 27, an individual season pass will run you only $199, or you can pick up a family pass for $800. As of Monday, Feb. 28, the price will rise to $239 for an individual pass and $956 for a family pass. That price will only be good through the end of March, from which point it will keep going up.

This year, Bogus is also offering a deal for a combo Nordic/Alpine season pass for $239 or an individual Nordic pass for $89.

And just to sweeten the deal, anyone who buys a season pass this week can ski on that pass for the remainder of this season as well as all of next season.

Season passes can be bought online, by phone at 208-332-5162 or at the Bogus Basin main office at 2600 Bogus Basin Road. Warning: don't try to buy your pass on the mountain. You can only get them at the corporate office in Boise.
