Spring is here. It's falconcam time!

The Peregrine Fund, Idaho Department of Fish and Game and Fiberpipe have launched the 2011 edition of falconcam, affixed to a nest box on the 14th floor of One Capital Center at 10th and Main streets in downtown Boise.

"We think this might be the same adult pair as last year because Peregrine Falcons have been seen in Boise throughout the fall and winter," said Fish and Game biologist Bruce Haak.

The ledge simulates high, steep cliffs that the falcons use in the wild. The falcons regularly prey on pigeons, doves, starlings and other downtown birds.
