Need Something to do Sunday?

One of literature's great powers is that it offers a window into experiences outside our own, especially when the literature is depicting a foreign culture for which the reader has no reference.

That said, Idaho likes to think it stands apart, that the experiences and viewpoints of its inhabitants are incomparable to those of other states.

Are they?

Tonight, why not find out?

Swing by Pengilly's and experience Mouth and Thistle: Montana Special, in which writers from the strange and faraway land of Montana will be reading poetry and fiction that is about their experiences living in such a savage wonderland.

But the timid should be warned: The unnamed featured writers will be Montanans and likely speaking Montanese.

The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and is FREE.
