Need Something To Do Tuesday?

Posted By on Tue, May 3, 2011 at 7:00 AM

In case you missed all of the groovy tunes around town last night, there's plenty of opportunity to make up for it tonight. Consider this week a little preview of what’s in store in the upcoming summer months, with music for the masses all over town—whatever your preference might be.

If you’re in a downtown kind of mood, indie pop faves The Head and the Heart are going to be doing a FREE in-store concert at the Record Exchange at 6 p.m. before heading next door to Neurolux for their show with the Devil Whale at 8 p.m. Tix for that show are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.

For a more relaxed night, you can head to the Bench, snag yourself a craft beer and a chunk of valuable real estate on the patio (or in the bar, depending on the weather) at Sockeye, kick back and let Trevor Green entertain you with his multitude of instruments and jam-band vibe. The show is FREE and starts at 8 p.m.

And finally, for those about to rock, the Knitting Factory plays host to Papa Roach, Finger Eleven and Pop Evil for the evening. That show also starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $28-$65.

If all that's still not quite what you're looking for tonight, check out BW's music listings calendar.
