It's getting down to the wire to enter the annual Boise Weekly Black and White Photo Contest. The deadline for getting your images in our hot little hands is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8.

The top three winners—as judged by a panel of pros and staffers—will be awarded cash prizes. The grand prize image will also grace the cover of the June 22 edition of BW.

Here's the important stuff one more time:
-All photographs must be black and white or monochrome and be at least 8 inches in one dimension.
-They must also be mounted on white 16-inch by 20-inch matboard.
-High-quality digital prints are fine.
-All entries must include the photographer's name, phone number and address, as well as the category (people, places or things) on the BACK of each entry.
-While you can enter as many images as you want, be ready to pony up a $5 entry fee for each photo—we have to come up with the prize money somehow.

You can drop your entries off in person, or send them to BWHQ (523 Broad St., Boise, ID, 83702), but don't forget to send the entry fee, too.

For more info, call BW office manager Shea Sutton at 208-344-2055.
