Girls, it's time to dig out that old can of Aquanet and roll up the sleeves of that neon pink Twisted Sister concert T-shirt. The black leather gloves with the fingers cut out will probably come in handy, too, since you'll be riding your bike through town for Dirty and Pink Alley Cat 2011.

This is a points-based alley cat, meaning you score points for stops you make along the route—the more, the better. You will have two and a half hours to figure out the best route, rack up as many points as possible and make it to the finish at Visual Arts Collective by 5:30 p.m. Your friends and family are welcome to meet you there for the after-party, which includes drinks and prizes for most points earned and best rocker/heavy metal costume.

The race begins at the fountain in Ann Morrison Park at 3 p.m. sharp, but you must get there early to register if you haven't already done so. Open registration is closed, so show up as close to 1:30 p.m. as possible to register. Bring $10 to do so, and throw a few more in your pocket for stops along the way and/or food at the finish. You're also going to need your ID, a bike lock, a bag or backpack, and a pen. Sunscreen and a helmet are suggested.

Visit the Dirty and Pink 2011 Facebook page for more info.
