Following an abbreviated season that showed better than expected attendance, Les Bois Park wraps up live horse racing for 2011 today. The 15-day season was the first in three years and Treasure Valley Racing scheduled at least 30 race days for 2012.
Today's card is highlighted by the Idaho Cup, a quarter horse futurity as well as eight other races. All of the horses in today's stakes races are Idaho-bred.
Approximately 150 workers were employed by Treasure Valley Racing through the season. TVR's lease agreement guarantees live races for the next five years.
