Memories of 9/11

Posted By on Thu, Aug 25, 2011 at 11:24 AM

There are certain defining moments in our collective consciousness that link us as a society. They're the moments that prompt an immediate answer when people are asked, "Where were you when ...?"

While not all of us witnessed the moon landing or were around when JFK was assassinated, few of us older than 15 will ever forget where we were or what we were doing when the planes hit the Twin Towers and the Pentagon on 9/11. Even those of us who weren't in New York City or Washington, D.C., still remember that day vividly.

As we approach the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Boise Weekly wants to share some of our readers' memories of that day. So, where were you on 9/11?

If you would like to share your experience, either post it as a comment or email it to Features Editor Deanna Darr at deanna@boiseweekly.com.
