The summer heat is still around during the days but at night, temperatures are dropping, meaning you and your alcohol-thinned blood got to find a way to stay toasty while carousing about downtown.
Boise Weekly would like to suggest "dancing." Apparently, it's quite a craze with the kids. And as an aerobic activity, it gets your blood pumping and keeps you warm as you schlep from pub to pub.
Tonight, the best place to strut your dancing shoes is Reef, which will play host to electro-pop outfit Neon Indian. With kicking beats, filtered keyboards and cute-as-a-button songs, the booty-shaking may register on the Richter scale.
And with aerobic activity like that, you'll be warm enough to pass out on the street afterward.
The show starts at 9 p.m. and is $13 at the door.
