Need Something To Do Saturday?

Posted By on Sat, Dec 3, 2011 at 6:00 AM

What if Santa visited zoo animals, dropping off pogo sticks for kangaroos and Zoro masks for raccoons, thereby creating the most wildly awesome Christmas Day ever? Well, you can wish for that to happen at Zoo Boise today during Claus 'N' Paws.

Santa will be in the animal house from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. today, and for a $3 donation, children can whisper their Christmas wishes and snap a photo with jolly old St. Nick. Admission to the zoo is free for everyone, and the Zootique will be open with creative gift ideas for holiday shoppers. Skyview High School will provide musical entertainment at 11:30 a.m., and you can watch various zoo residents receive special holiday treats throughout the day.

Bring the little ones and have some holiday fun—it'll probably be less of a zoo than the mall this time of year.
