Anytime you fuse an artist co-operative with a restaurant that dishes out tasty food, coffee, beer and wine, you're likely to get an awesome space. Add in fun events like board game and movie nights, and you'll probably want to stay there for days on end.
Salt Tears Coffeehouse and Noshery—the actualization of that impressive fusion (the restaurant shares a space with Green Chutes artist co-op)—is replacing its Tuesday movie nights. But don't get all upset just yet; movie nights may make an appearance again in the future. And in the meantime, Tuesdays will now become beer- and wine-tasting nights.
The new Tuesday tastings kick off tonight with Angie Shaltry of Periple Wines, who will offer samples of Salt Tears' exclusively blended house wine, Something Red.
If you love it, you can take home one of the growlers (yep, you heard us right) of this wine packaged with specially made mulling spices.
Next Tuesday, Dec. 20, Payette Brewing will be in the house delving out samples of its locally made brews. Selections change every week and the booze-infused fun starts at 6 p.m.
