Need Something To Do Tuesday?

Posted By on Tue, Jan 10, 2012 at 6:00 AM

Local author Rae Ann Norell recently published her book Broke Hungry and Happy: The Life of Dangerous Dave Norell (Borderline Publishing, September 2011). It tells the story of her son, a live-life-to-the-fullest outdoors enthusiast, who shocked Boiseans in 2004 when he collapsed during the Pole Pedal Paddle race on Bogus Basin Road.

Dangerous Dave was a kayak enthusiast who left hours of film and written works detailing his whitewater adventures in Idaho and around the world, and Norell tells his story. The book is now available for Kindle download at amazon.com or through therevolution.cc.

Norell will talk about her book today at The Idaho Outdoor Association Grange Hall at 7 p.m. She'll also be signing copies.
