Today, the Boise State Theatre Arts department will premiere its production of a little play you may or may not have heard of: Hamlet. Regarded as one of William Shakespeare's best works, Hamlet will debut at 7:30 p.m. at the Danny Peterson Theatre in the Morrison Center.
Catch this classic tale filled with notorious quotes ("To be or not to be," anybody?), ghosts and really terrible uncles for $15, or $12 if you're a non-Boise State student, alumni or senior citizen. Or, better yet, anyone with a valid Boise State ID can get a freebie ticket from any on-campus ticketing location.
The department will follow its production of Hamlet with the 20th century absurdist play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, which focuses on two minor characters from Hamlet. The two plays will be in rotating repertory through the end of March and beginning of April.
