Need Something To Do Sunday?

Posted By on Sun, Apr 22, 2012 at 6:00 AM

Do you love sports and only make it to the theater when you're trying to impress a date? Relax, sports fan. There are plenty of productions with athletic themes, including The Sweetest Swing in Baseball, which local troupe Stage Coach Theatre is performing today at 2 p.m.

Be ready for some dramatic curve balls—this play by Rebecca Gilman tells the story of a struggling artist dealing with depression who adopts the character of a bad-boy baseball player. With strong language and situations, this production isn't recommended for young audience members.

The Sweetest Swing in Baseball will continue its run Thursday, April 26-Saturday, April 28, at 251 N. Orchard St. Tickets are $15 and can be reserved by calling 208-342-2000. Visit the company's website for times and more info.
