Need Something To Do Sunday?

Posted By on Sun, May 6, 2012 at 6:00 AM

Put away your lazy Sunday slippers and break out your cowboy boots—today is a good day for some country dancing.

Boise Old Time, a project dedicated to old-time music and a Boise Weekly Cover Auction Grant recipient, will present a family dance today from 4:30-6 p.m. For a cool $5, or $10 per family, you can learn new dance steps and have a swell time with the entire family. The Hokum Hi-Flyers will provide the tunes and Ava Honey will be live dance-calling.

Proceeds from the dance benefit the Treasure Valley Institute for Children's Arts, a neat-o place that provides fun, artsy things for kids to do.
