Need Something To Do Wednesday?

Posted By on Wed, May 9, 2012 at 6:00 AM

Got a case of the hump-day blues? Why not cure it with a little singing and dancing. Today, you can enjoy Rogers and Hammerstein's much-loved musical The King and I, which will, of course. include singalong-worthy tunes like "Shall We Dance" and "Getting to Know You."

You can catch the story of Anna and the King's quest toward understanding and respect at the Morrison Center at 7:30 p.m. The production will continue through Saturday, May 12, at the same time, with a 2 p.m. matinee performance on the closing day. The King and I is presented as part of Boise Music Week.

Tickets to The King and I are FREE with a coupon that was distributed in the Idaho Statesman on April 18, but if you didn't pick one up, don't fret. Empty seats will be filled 10 minutes before showtime.

You can find out more about this event and all the happenings involved with Boise Music Week here.
