Need Something To Do Monday?

Posted By on Mon, May 28, 2012 at 6:00 AM

Forget shooting stars and Jiminy Cricket—today wishes are associated with that deliciously fermented grape beverage we call wine.

Those who like to do good and enjoy a drink can head to Indian Creek Winery just outside of Kuna for a day of sipping in the sun for a worthwhile cause. Wishes and Wine will take place at the winery today from 1:30-6 p.m. and feature Chicken Dinner Road and A Tasty Jamm (the bands, not buffet items) along with Robin Scott. Riceworks, B29 Streatery and Cutters Grand BBQ will provide the eats, which you can enjoy alongside wine tasting from Indian Creek, Vale Wine Company, Parma Ridge, Fujishin Family Cellars and Bitner Vineyards.

The cost is $10 per person, or you can pack in clown car-style and take advantage of the $25 per carload rate. Money raised benefits Wish Granters, an Idaho nonprofit that grants wishes to those ages 18 and older with terminal illnesses. Find out more here.
