The Bouquet is Back ... Sort Of

Posted By on Mon, Jun 25, 2012 at 3:04 PM

Rolling down Main Street over the weekend, I heard the dulcet tones of an overdriven guitar singing from the most unlikely of places: shuttered downtown club The Bouquet.

Luckily, owner Tyson Twilegar was out front to offer up the lowdown on the club's status.

Twilegar said he's reopened the club as a cash-only bar on weekends. The stage will have a rotating variety of local acts doing residencies, and there shall be no covers. For now.

Twilegar also mentioned the likelihood of a performance from former Boise band Neo Tundra Cowboy, which relocated to Nashville in the fall of 2011. Twilegar added that he's working on a plan to reopen the club on a broader level that would include touring acts and more regular hours.

BW will keep its ears to the sidewalk for future developments.
