More Apocalypse Goodness from TTBOOK

Posted By on Mon, Jul 23, 2012 at 11:09 AM

This week's issue of Boise Weekly is packed cover-to-cover with helpful and amusing information about the possibilities of all life on Earth coming to an immediate end.

But apparently, BW was not the only media outlet thinking apocalyptically. Public Radio International's To the Best of Our Knowledge aired an entire show on the apocalypse over the weekend, which included an examination of the Book of Revelations as a cultural force, cake recipes for the end of the world, a look into the threat of nuclear war, more about the Mayan calendar, a physicist offering up a string theorist's take on the end and a discussion with Slavoj Zizek, a writer whose official job title ought to be "crazy Slovenian S.O.B."

You can listen to the episode here.
