You're burned out from First Thursday. You elbowed through the throngs at the Wintry Market. It's time to unwind. Fortunately, Boise has a hometown research university that offers many of the cultural amenities of a big city with a fraction of the hustle and bustle.

One of those amenities is a full-service music program that brings together world-class instrumentalists for your pleasure. If you were in band in high school or just enjoy the soothing sounds of classical music, check out Fall Symphonic Winds, playing at the Morrison Center today at 7:30 p.m.

The symphony is directed by Marcellus Brown, who also directs the Treasure Valley Concert Band and has years of experience—so you know you're in capable hands.

Admission is $3-$5.
