It's Friday and you're likely on the lookout for some entertainment before you hit the town tonight. As luck would have it, Ned Evett's new album, Treehouse, is being released at the Linen Building.
Evett is a veteran of the Nashville music scene and his tunes are suffused with the blend of artistry and swagger endemic to the country created there. Expect songs about love lost and redemption mixed with his take-no-prisoners guitar style.
The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 p.m., with Dan Costello on guitar, Todd Chavez on the cajon, and Cody Ramey on the upright bass.
The event sports a full bar and pizza from Pie Hole. Tickets are $10 before the show at The Record Exchange and brownpapertickets.com or $15 at the door.
