Need Something To Do Monday?

Remember the Mayan apocalypse, and how the world was supposed to end in some unforeseeable-but-theatrical way? It seems like the distant past, but the folks at Story Story Night remember it like it was yesterday. Just before the apocalypse was supposed to begin, the SSN crew threw an end of the world bash, but when the world refused to burst into flames or the dinosaurs failed to climb out of a fissure in the Earth's mantle, well, they were plumb disappointed.

That's why they're hosting Story Story Night: Aftermath—to tell you, the public, just how anticlimactic it was that all our lives weren't cut cruelly short.

The evening begins at the Rose Room at 7 o'clock, and admission is $8 in advance or $10 at the door. And if you're not done with your evening when the stories are finished, there's an afterparty going down at Red Feather Lounge and Bittercreek Ale House, which are honoring ticket holders with a free drink special.
