If you're a mountain biker, you're likely looking at all this melting snow and rubbing your hands with anticipation. Winter has been dismal this year, but for the next few days, the weather report says partly cloudy and highs in the upper 30s.

Naturally, it's too soon to hit the trails, but the time has come to plan for the future. Today from 6:30-8 p.m. at Eagle City Hall, the Boise Area Mountain Bike Association (BAMBA) and the City of Eagle are hosting an open house to gather public input for a five-year plan to guide mountain bike use at the Eagle Sports Complex.

Meet the newly hired director of Parks and Rec, Mike Aho, eat free pizza and tell Eagle what you want out of the Sports Complex.

RSVP at Eagle Bike Park's Facebook event page so BAMBA knows how much pizza to bring.
