The piano is one of the most versatile instruments in the world, aiding in the composition, playing and reproduction of virtually any kind of music.

Boise State University Professor Del Parkinson and Brigham Young Professor Jeffrey Shumway showcase this versatility in The American Piano Duo. Parkinson and Shumway have produced two albums that span the works of George Gershwin and Sergei Rachmaninoff, and already show a wide range of musical interests.

Parkinson and Shumway play at the Morrison Center Recital Hall at 4 p.m. Tickets are free for BSU students, $3 for seniors and $5 for the public.
