You may recognize the students of Renaissance High School as some of the kids who post on the corner of Eighth and Idaho streets during the Capital City Public Market and perform Radiohead covers.

These same prodigies are at it again, this time with a jazz concert fundraiser called Jazz Dessert. The Choral Department at Renaissance is building a new music library and recording studio. To raise money, the department is hosting a night of jazz entertainment that starts at 7 p.m. in the high school's main auditorium, at 1307 E. Central Drive in Meridian. The cover is $10.
