Despite its discreet title, Showtime's The L Word was anything but, portraying dramatic social and sexual relationships among Los Angeles lesbians, as well as tackling issues like gender, fertility and discrimination.
Spanning six seasons and 70 episodes, the show raised awareness of LGBT issues, serving them up with story lines filled with sex, crime and drama.
Though the series ended in 2009, it still has devout fans. Tonight at Humpin' Hannah's, the show is making a comeback with The L Word Live.
Starting at 9:30 p.m., there will be live music from Rebecca Scott, Blaze N Kelly and Barbara Laing, along with door prizes, L Word trivia and drink specials. Plus, it's free to attend.
