Here's a sign that summer might actually show up soon than later: Lake Lowell in Nampa will open to boating on Monday, April 15.

The lower dam recreation area, Gotts Point and the first parking lot will also open that day, along with all of the area's boat ramps.

The Deer Flat Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center will be open for those who want a little off-water entertainment. The center is open weekdays from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
