Spring has not been a dry season—for dance, that is. Big events at Opera Idaho and Balance Dance Company have shown that Boise is becoming a hub or classical and modern dance, and this weekend, Idaho Dance Theatre is driving the point home.

Today is the final day of Idaho Dance Theatre's Spring Show. See Boise artist Carl Rowe premier a new work while Marla Hansen revives Fractured Silence. New choreographies by Gonzalo Valdez and Lia Mrazek are on display.

The final performance of IDT's 2012-2013 season begins at 2 p.m. at the Boise State University Special Events Center. Tickets are $10-$37.
