Boise's Peter John Still Nominated for a Tony Award

The Broadway revival of Golden Boy had golden enough sound for Boiseean Peter John Still to earn a Tony nomination for his work on the play.

Boise's Peter John Still is well-known for his work at Boise Contemporary Theater and the Idaho Shakespeare Festival.

But the world-at-large got to know the Boisean today when Still was co-nominated for a Tony Award, along with Marc Salzberg, for their work as sound designers on the critically-acclaimed Broadway revival of Clifford Odets' Golden Boy.

The play got special accolades for its performances, especially in the staged boxing scenes.

Tony nominations were announced today and the awards will be handed out Sunday, June 9.
