If you thought Robie Creek was way too easy, you're in luck—organizers have just announced the creation of the Double Robie and Aldape Challenge races. Yes, you read that right, the Double Robie.
The new races—slated for Saturday, Sept. 28—will include the full-marathon-length Double Robie, leading 26.2 miles along the traditional Race to Robie Creek course, but this time it will be an out-and-back race.
The Aldalpe Challenge is along the same course, but clocks in at 16.6 miles. Both races will start and finish at Fort Boise.
The races are a benefit for Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs and there are special offers for teams who register.
Registration is already open, with special early bird prices. Check out the details and register at the race's website.
Editors Note: Double Robie and the Aldape Challenge are not associated with the Race to Robie Creek.
