It's finally here. Yes, voting is now officially open for the 2013 Best of Boise contest.
That's right, from now through Sunday, Sept. 1, you can log on to cast your vote for the people, places and organizations you think represent the very best of what the Boise area has to offer. Results of the readers' choice votes will be published in the Wednesday, Sept. 25 edition of Boise Weekly.
To vote, just click on the button on our homepage or click here.
Those who felt our survey was a little unwieldy last year will be happy to know that we've switched back to our own survey platform on our very own website, which should make navigating the questions a little easier. While there are no pull-down menus to choose from, please remember that we only count votes for locally owned and operated businesses and organization—which means no chains.
The change in the voting system also means that you only need to be a registered member of boiseweekly.com come to cast your ballot. Anyone who already has an account already has access and new users can set up their own for free.
As always, we ask that voters cast only one ballot per person, and we will be watching closely for ballot stuffing—so don't waste your time and just be honest.
Voters can complete their ballots at any time during the survey period—the system allows users to log on and off without losing their progress—but they must answer at least 20 questions for their votes to count.
Now, go vote your little hearts out.
