Today, the Boise Chordsmen have dispatched nine barbershop quartets to hit the town, deliver a red rose and sing two songs to unsuspecting valentines. Here at the Boise Weekly office, we starting thinking about all the most awkward workplaces one of these crews could be sent to. Then we started wondering what you, our readers, thought.

So, we're making it a competition. Comment below on the weirdest, worst, most awkward place to send a singing quartet and you could win a $50 gift certificate to Mai Thai Modern Asian Cuisine. Need to take him/her out to make up for botching Valentine's Day? All you have to do is make us laugh on the comment section below.

I'll start: maybe the corner's office? Maybe your lovely gynecologist? Perhaps divorce court. I don't know, you tell me.

And if this sparks the desire in you to actually send a singing barbershop quartet to your own lover's place of work, here's the number to call: 208-629-0968. Ask for Len.

RULES: You must post your comment with your real name in the comment section of this post, and you must pick up the gift card in person. Judging is at the discretion of the BW staff and will be completed Monday, Feb. 17, by noon.

Good luck!
