Need Something To Do Wednesday?

Posted By on Wed, Apr 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM

Admit it—you've seen a superhero movie. Sure, you've made fun of them in the break room and at lunch with a friend, but you got goosebumps at least once when you watched Batman/Captain America save the city/world and bring good to mankind. You feel inspired after these films and wonder how you can help. However, you don't have the resources of Bruce Wayne and you are not a recently unfrozen cryogenic superhuman experiment, so you've got to find another way.

Now's your chance. The ACLU of Idaho is hosting a town hall meeting at Meridian City Hall and wants to hear from citizens about concerns they have regarding Idaho's criminal justice system. Watch a few clips from Erin Brockovich, get pumped and organize your ideas so you can help create solutions for Idaho's problems.

6 p.m. FREE. Meridian City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Ave., Meridian, 208-888-4433, meridiancity.org.
