Need Something To Do Tuesday?

Posted By on Tue, May 27, 2014 at 11:13 AM

That fishing pole in your closet has been gathering dust since your aunt gave it to you for Christmas. The fact that it was Uncle Joe's favorite rod hasn't been enough to get you out there - but that's going to change.

The Garden City Library and Idaho Rivers United are teaming up to inform you of the Boise River's greatness. Idaho City District Ranger Brant Petersen will discuss wildlife, historic sites and recreational possibilities along the middle fork of the river. No need to wear a life jacket to the library.

6 p.m. FREE. Garden City Library, 6015 Glenwood St., Garden City, 208-472-2941, notaquietlibrary.org.
